Our client, based in Belfast City Centre, is currently looking to recruit Customer Service Advisors within their clients Collections and Recoveries department.


Responsibilities:
· Carry out collections and debt recovery procedures in accordance with company policy and procedures, making outbound telephone calls to domestic and commercial customers to expedite payment
·Proactively engages with overdue customers via telephone or correspondence to secure immediate payment, negotiate arrangements and payment plans with those in genuine hardship or initiate legal or other action.
· Achieves personal targets set
· Ensures that the customer is at the forefront through the delivery of service excellence
· Coordinate, prioritise and schedule work on a daily and weekly basis to optimise achievement
· Establish and maintain rapport with customers – listens to, analyses and translates client and customer feedback into service improvement initiatives.
· Works as an effective member of the team


Essential Criteria:

Debt Collections experience or a strong sales background (minimum of 6 months).
Strong Customer Service background (and effective relationship builder - can quickly establish rapport with people)
Objective handling, query resolution and strong negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong team player

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of high volume inbound/outbound calls
Experience of preview/predictive dialler campaigns
Knowledge of contact centre technology and processes
Experience of working with Microsoft packages

Hours of work:
Must be flexible to work between 8am and 9pm (current shifts only until 6pm)


Salary and Benefits

£14,000 per annum
Up to £3,000 per annum bonus
Contributory pension
20 days holidays plus 10 bank holidays
