The person:

Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) and/or member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Strong technical knowledge of tax.
At least three and a half years in a professional tax environment.
Excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment.

The role:

Structuring UK, Irish and Cross Border mergers and acquisitions.
Advising on both national and international structured finance transactions and property acquisitions.
Developing appropriate corporate structures to help clients get the maximum reliefs and tax advantages in developing their business.
Assisting in tax reporting obligations.
Developing tax efficient remuneration packages for executives.
Advising on a wide range of VAT and other indirect tax issues.
Arranging ownership of personal and business assets to maximise tax reliefs and reduce inheritance tax liabilities to include effective Will planning.
As a Tax manager you will have responsibility for a portfolio of both compliance and advisory clients.
In addition to advising such clients you will assist directors and partners in advising clients on a wide range of more complex projects.
This would include attendance at meetings, reviewing documents and liaising with lawyers.

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience. At this level the package includes an extremely competitive base salary, paid overtime, and a KPMG flexible benefits package
