Temporary accounts payable supervisor, Belfast city centre, 5 months.

My client a large public sector organisation based in Belfast city centre have an immediate need for a temporary accounts payable supervisor for approximately 5 months. This will be a busy and varied accounts role which will offer the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to further their career.

Reporting directly to the AP manager you will play an integral role within the team and key duties will include:

- Management and supervision of the accounts section
- Manage the delivery of a twice weekly processing of payments on Oracle Financials
- Processing all travel and subsistence claims via MDIS
- Assist in the preparation of Construction Industry Scheme annual returns detailing all tax deducted by sub-contractor
- Giving advice and instruction regarding the VAT relief scheme


Essential criteria include:
- Demonstrable experience of Oracle Financials
- Supervisory experience in accounts payable


Desirable criteria:
- Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme
- Knowledge of VAT regulations
- Experience of Oracle cheque and BACS processes
