Temporary assistant accountant, North Down area

My client a large Public Sector Organisation based in the North Down area requires an assistant accountant for a temporary contract. Reporting directly to the financial accountant the successful applicant will assist in the day to day running of the accounts department.

Duties & responsibilities include:
· Purchase, sales and nominal ledger
· Reconciliations
· Assisting in month end reporting of all local ledgers
· Ad hoc finance duties

Essential criteria include:
· Working towards professional qualification
· Excellent IT skills e.g. Word, Excel
· Experience of using a computerised accounts package
