Vintage Orange OR80M 80 watt valve guitar amp with 2 x 10 inch speaker cones.

One of the speakers is a Celestion, the other is an original Orange speaker.

Fantastic condition for its age. One of the knobs is missing but would be easily replaced- it's a standard fit. Otherwise it's in great nick, with a lovely warm tone.

This is the first Orange combo to feature a master volume control, for plenty of overdrive at low volumes. It also features an F.A.C. dial, for tonal variations, as well as the usual bass, treble, presence and gain knobs. It also has echo send/return and 2 inputs.

This amp dates back to the early 70s, I'm not sure of the exact year.

Orange started making amps again in recent years, but they're no longer manufactured in England. None of the new ones sound anywhere near as good as one of these babies cranked up!

This model and similar models have been used by such diverse guitarists as Angus and Malcolm Young (AC/DC), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Paul Kossoff (Free), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Noel Gallagher (Oasis).

A rare chance to find such a sought after amp locally.
I could maybe get a better price on eBay, but I couldn't be bothered with shipping and I'd rather keep it in the country.

Obviously you can try before you buy- If you're genuinely interested I can arrange for it to be tested in a studio where it can be played LOUD!
