My name is Paul Murray & I'm co-ordinating essential skills classes (English, Maths & ICT) throughout North Belfast & Newtownabbey.

These classes are delivered by experienced Belfast Met tutors and can be located at suitable venues throughout North Belfast at no hirage cost to the person or organisation, for further information please contact me below.

I have to date set-up 21 classes in 10 months and have / will run classes in the following 16 venues,:

Newington Credit Union, Pim Street, Wheatfield & Seaview (pending) primary schools, LNBCC, (small steps) The Hubb Shore Road, Mount Vernon (2010), Glengormley & Rathcoole libraries (2010), Benview, Carrick Hill, Concorde, Marrowbone Community Centres, Flax Foyer & Stella Maris hostels & Ashton Centre.

The criteria is as follows: Be over 19 years of age, unemployed, living in
North Belfast (including newtownabbey) and available for 16-22 weeks for
2 1/2 hours each week, the classes are free and there are five levels up to the equivalent of GCSE grade C.

Classes run from Mid September 2009, Mondays to Fridays 10.00-12.30,
1.30-4.00, also possibility night classes from October 6.30 - 9.00.

I can provide promotional posters to advertise the venue & classes, which I have done for the venues above already
