Broad Content of Role:

As a developer joining one of our design and development teams, you will be involved in every stage of building the next generation of financial trading applications. Producing a range of high availability, high performance real-time trading system products, you will work in one of the dedicated teams responsible for one of the individual components of Fidessa and its integration into the full product suite.

Fidessa offers a wide range of rich functionality products from a standalone workstation to an integrated application suite, in order to meet the needs of a broad customer base which includes 85% of tier-one equity brokers world-wide.

As a global company, Fidessa has presence in Asia, Europe and US. Most development is carried out in the head office at Woking in England, and the new development office in Belfast where this position will be based.

Key Requirements:

* Degree qualified.
* Must evidence experience in one or more of the following: C#, C++ or Java.
* Must evidence experience in one of more of the following: Unix, Windows XP/Vista.
* Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC).
* Experience in relational databases desirable.
* Knowledge of software design desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Development of software.
* To write and maintain technical documents.
