Head Chef (derry area)
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Prepare and serve meals in full compliance with food hygiene standards and regulations.
Ø Carry out the planning, ordering, preparation and delivery of food services and to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within kitchens and associated catering premises.
Ø Provide direction, guidance and support staff to ensure the necessary duties are carried out within the kitchen and associated areas.
Ø All work must be undertaken in line with health, safety, security and Company and Trust policies and procedures including infection control.
Ø Supervise presentation, portion control and the food being served.
Qualifications:
Ø Basic Food Hygiene training will be provided and must be passed to undertake this role.
Ø Knowledge of Health & Safety
Experiences:
5 years experience in a similar role and will be fully proficient when it comes to the management of staff, ordering foods, cleanliness , rotas and preparing of menus.
Skills:
Ø Ability to work well under pressure
Ø Good organisation and time management skills
